The Renew QP Registration link can be found once you log in to the CL:AIRE website in the Actions panel of your Dashboard.
Registration fees will remain at £150 for private sector £105 for public sector.
All new Qualified Persons will be required to take and pass an online test. All current QPs renewing will also be required to take the same test within the first 6 months of 2019. This test will be available from January 2019. This will be a regular requirement for all QPs every 2 years to ensure knowledge of the DoW CoP is maintained.
Parallel to the test, QPs will also be required to log their annual CPD relevant to the DoW CoP on the CL:AIRE recording facility again available at the QP login page. This log must reflect a minimum of 30 hrs spent on the planning, management, regulation or oversight of DoW CoP, remediation or other projects involving materials management.
QPs can either log their CPD directly on the CL:AIRE system, or to avoid duplication, simply upload their logs recorded on alternative platforms.
The online QP Register will be re-set at the end of January 2019; if we have not received updated information and payment by then we will have to remove QPs from the Register.
Payments for 2019 registration can be made immediately as can the submission of the renewal.
The register will also be re-set at the end of June 2019; those QPs who have not successfully passed the test will also be removed from the register.
If for whatever reason the deadline is missed and QPs wish to renew at a later date, they will be charged the full annual amount and not pro-rata for the remainder of the year and will still be required to meet the online test and CPD requirements.
