QP registrations for this year will expire at the end of December 2020. To maintain your QP status and to continue QP activities for 2021 please don't forget to renew by the end of January 2021.
The Renew QP Registration 2021 link is available now from the Actions panel of your Dashboard (the first page you land on after logging in).
The following QP renewal 2021 checklist will ensure you are up-to-date and able to renew.
Chartership
Make sure you are up-to-date with your Chartership institution.
Fees
Registration fees will remain at £150 for the private sector and £105 for the public sector.
CPD requirements
Please make sure that your annual CPD which is relevant to the DoW CoP is up to date. As a reminder, this log must reflect a minimum of 30 hrs spent on the planning, management, regulation or oversight of DoW CoP, remediation or other projects involving materials management. You can either log your individual CPD records or upload a full CPD statement for 2020 that you have exported from elsewhere via the CPD panel on your Dashboard.
From February 2020, QP CPD logs will be randomly selected for audit.
The audit will consider if:
- you have uploaded your CPD by the deadline;
- your CPD log meets the requirement of a minimum of 30 hrs;
- the CPD logged is relevant to the application of DoW CoP;
- there is evidence that your Chartership status is up to date;
- there is evidence of extra hours spent on your CPD log (as discussed following your previous failure of the QP assessment)
Failure to comply with the QP CPD requirements will result in your temporary removal from the Online QP Register.
Timings
The online QP Register will be re-set at the end of January 2021; if we have not received updated information and payment by then, your name will be removed from the Register.
Payments for 2021 registration can be made immediately as can the submission of the renewal.
If for whatever reason the deadline is missed and QPs wish to renew at a later date, they will be charged the full annual amount and not pro-rata for the remainder of the year and will still be required to meet the online test and CPD requirements.
