Visitor, welcome to your CL:AIRE eAlert for October. There is lots of news this month, including our plan to operate an independent third-party accreditation scheme to support implementation of the Aggregates From Inert Waste: Resource Framework, subject to approval by the Environment Agency. We also hosted three events in October - two member events and a webinar attended by 230 people. Our final networking event of 2026 took place on 15 October at the Adelphi pub in Leeds. This event was kindly supported by The Environmental Protection Group Ltd and Jackson Remediation Ltd. Next up on 21 October was a webinar on the recently published PFAS Remediation Technology Evaluation Framework. Andrew Morgan, Principal Geologist at Geosyntec Consultants talked through the framework and the supporting materials and answered questions. Finally, the Principal Members' Dinner was held on 22 October at Brown's Brasserie in Covent Garden, London. This event brought together CL:AIRE Trustees and Principal Members to allow open discussion of how CL:AIRE can try and help industry, and for CL:AIRE to thank Principal Members for their continued support. Read on and enjoy. The CL:AIRE Team |
