Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) and the Scottish Government undertook a consultation in 2021 on "Protecting Scotland’s groundwater from pollution". Although SEPA is not yet in a position to implement all the proposed changes outlined in the consultation, as an interim step, it has updated the list of groundwater hazardous substances.
