SoBRA is pleased to be hosting a summer workshop which will consider approaches to non-standard risk assessments.
Whether you would like to know more about how to deal with non-standard scenarios or you are an expert practitioner in your field, this will be an engaging day of discussion and workshops which will move beyond changing input parameters in standard models.
Following a morning of presentations, the afternoon will include the following choice of interactive workshops where approaches to dealing with risks will be discussed:
* non-standard receptors - case study example on risks to livestock
* non-standard buildings – case study example on gas risks
* non-standard sources and CSM – case study on the use of ‘waste’ ash in agricultural and construction settings.
* unusual contaminant mixtures – case study on transport in groundwater of unusual mixtures in NAPL
