Concawe’s ‘Sustainable Remediation’ Project is entering the final stages of data collection. Our aim is to find examples where stakeholders have agreed that a sustainable approach to remediation is in the overall best interest to stakeholders. We’ve received over 20 examples of sustainable remediation so far ...yet there is still an opportunity to get involved and submit your case studies for final selection. The best case studies that we are looking for ideally would:
- Be an example of sustainable remediation (with evidence to support this – some form of sustainability assessment would be useful but not mandatory)
- Include clear engagement with and acceptance by the regulator
- Be located in Europe

If you would like to get involved, please email Rob Sweeney at CL:AIRE (rob.sweeney@claire.co.uk) for further information or visit the original call to action for background to the project. Case studies can be submitted until Friday 29th October 2021.
