The Welsh Government’s Coal Tip Safety (Wales) White Paper remains open for responses until 4 August 2022. It is available at the link here.
The proposal aims to introduce a consistent approach to the management, monitoring, and oversight of disused coal tips. Responses to the proposals will assist Welsh Government in the development of new primary legislation, which the Welsh Government has committed to introduce during this Senedd.
