The Office for Environmental Protection (OEP) recently published its corporate plan for the next two years work. The plan sets out the programme of work ahead and explains how the OEP aims to protect and improve the environment in England and Northern Ireland by holding Governments and other public authorities to account. In addition, the OEP has launched a consultation to hear views on how the OEP goes about its work to hold Government and public authorities to account against their environmental commitments. The OEP is keen to hear from parties that have an interest in environmental protection and improvement. Further information is available here. The consultation closes on 26 September 2024.
