CL:AIRE is saddened to report that Professor Paul Younger died peacefully on 24th April 2018 as a result of a brain tumour at the age of 55.
Paul was an internationally renowned hydrogeologist and environmental engineer, and regarded as one of the world's foremost experts in the remediation of pollution associated with mining.
Paul became involved with CL:AIRE as a Technology and Research Group member whilst at Newcastle University where his research team published a number of bulletins and reports on minewater remediation.
